Life in the Law Centre March
Life in the Law Centre March
We are pleased to be able to welcome new clients into our Albert Street office from 1 March. Safety measure are still in place; these will be explained to our visitors. Our meeting room has been refurbished and freshly decorated and we can offer people a warm cup of tea or coffee and a tasty biscuit when they arrive. Our wonderful receptionist Kay works so hard to deal with all incoming enquiries and making sure that everything runs like clockwork. π π
Meanwhile, our new case management system is up and running. This has been a huge project but all the hard work is paying off. We no longer keep paper files as everything is scanned into our new system and the staff have had to get to grips with totally new ways of working. We are very proud of our team and thank them for all their hard work and perseverance. π π
We have a new member in our team; Lucy Convoy is training to be a legal secretary so clients will come across her in the near future. We are also delighted to have two volunteers on board; Lisa Duffin and Lesley Caldwell are helping with different admin tasks and are being very helpful. βΊοΈ βΊοΈ
We also have four new board members which is exciting. David Dorward, Kara Swankie, Matt Allen and Jenny Rose-Hamilton bring a wealth of useful experience to the Law Centre and perfectly compliment the excellent skills we already have in our board. Their appointment is timely as we begin to map out our new strategy.
Our solicitors are currently planning to hold sessions back out in the community again and more details of this will follow in our April ππππππ
